The Egyptian Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki discussed ways of cooperation with the Dutch minister of defence Kajsa Ollongren and her accompanying delegation during their current visit to Egypt.
The meeting discussed ways to support the prospects for military cooperation and exchange of experiences between the armed forces of both countries. The latest developments on the regional and international arenas were also discussed.
The Dutch Minister of Defense expressed her appreciation for the role of the Egyptian Armed Forces in maintaining stability in the Middle East, stressing her country's keenness to strengthen joint relations on both sides.
The meeting was attended by Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, a number of commanders of the armed forces of both countries, and the military attaché of the Netherlands in Cairo.
